How we work
A Florida company, and we do not sell the alcohol
Hyacinth Bartending Services LLC is a limited liability company registered in the State of Florida, document number L24000311875, filed in 2024, with registration details on public record with the Florida Division of Corporations. General liability insurance certificate available on request.
We provide bartenders and bar service. The host or venue buys and owns the alcohol, so nothing is sold by us and no beverage licence is involved — if your event does involve selling alcohol, the host or venue needs the appropriate Florida licence and we will ask to see it. Our bartenders check identification, never serve anyone under 21 or visibly intoxicated, and that decision cannot be overruled by the person paying us.

The questions we get most
Why do I buy the alcohol?
Because we provide service, not sales. It keeps your cost down — you buy at retail rather than paying a markup — and it keeps the event outside beverage licensing entirely.
How much alcohol should I buy?
We give you an exact shopping list for your guest count and menu. Most people over-buy spirits and under-buy ice and mixers.
Can you serve my cousin who is 20?
No. Not with parental permission, not at a private home, not for a toast. That is not a judgement call our bartenders are willing to make.
What if a guest has had too much?
We cut them off discreetly, offer water and food, and tell the host quietly. We do it kindly, but we do it.
Do we need insurance?
We carry general liability and can provide a certificate. Hosts in Florida can carry their own liability for alcohol-related harm, so host liquor liability coverage is worth asking your insurer about.
How many bartenders do we need?
Roughly one per 50 guests for a simple bar, more for cocktails. We will tell you the real number even when it is more than you hoped.
